The Spring Festival is a grand celebration for Chinese people worldwide. As winter arrives and the 12th lunar month begins, this festival of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new kicks off. From cooking Laba porridge on the 8th day of the 12th lunar month to greeting the Spring Festival on the first day of the first lunar month, every day becomes a time node of special significance. Adapted from Nursery Rhymes of Northern China, this story is catchy, full of childlike charm and strong festive vibes. Now reborn through the artist’s brushstrokes, it vividly brings traditional festival customs to life for children.

Graduated from the Art Design Department of the School of Arts, Renmin University of China, the illustrator has worked as an art teacher, art editor, and commercial illustrator. Currently a freelance illustrator, she specializes in picture book and illustration creation, and has long created illustrations for periodicals such as?Smart Express,?OCTOBER the Children's Literature, and?QiCai YuWen. In 2018, she was selected into the ID PARK Illustrators Group Exhibition Program, and has published the picture book?Papa Sun and Mama Moon.
